Goal or Purpose:


To evaluate the association between genetic and non-genetic risk factors and to understand how this association may make African Americans more susceptible to Alzheimer’s disease. 

Inclusion Criteria:


Diagnosed with probable Alzheimer’s disease
Male or Female
Must have a full living sibling who is unaffected by a memory disorder
Full siblings must be over 50 yrs of age
Must be able to complete an MRI

Exclusion Criteria:


A probable Alzheimer’s disease patient with full siblings under
50 yrs of age
