Information on the Research Project::

The purpose of this research is to explore the ways in which African Americans cope with cancer, and if and how religiosity and/or spirituality plays a role in coping.

Explanation of Procedures:

If you decide to participate, your specific part will involve an individual interview to talk about your experience with cancer, and what you have used to cope.  You will be expected to attend an individual interview,  that will last 1-1.5 hours.  You will be expected to talk about your cancer experience and what you have found helpful in coping.  We will tape record the interview.
