Provide leadership and supervision of the Budget office, develop and establish policies and procedures, develop long range financial projections in accordance with the institution’s strategic plan, establish and monitor budget calendar, organize and implement the school’s annual budget, review and monitor the annual budget, design budget planning instruments.

Assist in the design of budget planning instruments, distribute budget planning materials to departments, assist in the preparation of the school’s annual budget, perform analysis of budget status and variance reports on a monthly basis, review budget change requests, research and resolve discrepancies on a monthly basis, generate on a quarterly basis budget to actual reports on a unit and departmental level, schedule meetings with persons with budget monitoring responsibilities to resolve any budgetary issues, meet regularly with department heads to discuss budget performance, assist with the preparation of financial forecast and projections.

Review and approve requests for personnel, personnel action forms, and timesheets to ensure accurate budget account codes and compliance with approved personnel budget, update personnel database, post payroll to the general ledger, and process budget change requests. Process requests for budget status reports, and assist in the distribution of monthly and quarterly reports.
