The
Department of Family Medicine shares the mission of the Morehouse
School of Medicine, which is to train primary care physicians,
especially from underrepresented minority and disadvantaged backgrounds,
who will provide high quality health care to underserved and minority
communities.
As an academic Department of Family Medicine, our mission extends
to the training of primary care physicians who will become outstanding
academicians and leaders in health care.
