It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome from Student Affairs to all prospective students! Members of the Student Affairs team at Morehouse School of Medicine look forward to an opportunity to advise, counsel, and motivate you in your pursuit of an advanced degree. The offices represented on the "team" are
Recruiting/Community Relations, Admissions, Registrar, Counseling, Academic Support, Student Activities, and Financial Aid.

We all strive to create an environment for you that fosters learning, emotional well being, professional growth and development, comradery, and community ser-
vice. The challenges of performing in medical school will remain, yet we pride ourselves on being "user friendly" in our approach to providing student services.

We expect our students to be responsible, conscientious, and hardworking individuals who will take advantage of what we have to offer. We encourage those who are focused on fulfilling the mission of the school, dedicated in their pursuit of knowledge, and committed to striving for excellence. Join us as we continue to "build upon the legacy of serving the underserved!"

Sincerely,
Angela L. W. Franklin, Ph.D.
Vice Dean and Associate Vice President of Academic
& Student Affairs
