| COMPLIANCE
POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
The Billing Compliance Program is intended to provide specific guidance and policies referencing basic requirements and specific issues that are considered to present substantial compliance risks and exposure for noncompliance. While not every situation involved in documentation, and billing for professional service is addressed by the policies documented in this plan, responsible parties are expected to approach their responsibilities with professional integrity and ethical behavior. Responsible parties are expected to inquire through the MMA Compliance Officer or designee for any questions regarding policies or practices that are not specifically addressed in this document.
All policies are applicable to all practice plan physicians (providers).
The following policies and guidelines will be addressed. Additional policies will be added as deemed necessary.

Changes and/or additions to policies, as deemed appropriate, will be the responsibility of the MMA Compliance Officer under the direction of the Clinical Compliance Committee or the Dean of Morehouse School of Medicine. For any concerns or recommendations, please notify:
