Methode Bacanamwo, Ph.D. is a Research Instructor in the Cardiovascular Research Institute at the Morehouse School of Medicine. He obtained a BS in biological sciences from he University of Burundi, a Master of Sciences from Clemson University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Arkansas and at the University of Missouri before joining the CVRI at Morehouse School of Medicine. He has published about eight articles as senior author in peer reviewed journals and a book chapter in areas ranging from bacterial, yeast, and plant physiology, molecular biology and biochemistry. He is currently interested in characterizing the role of chromatin remodeling enzymes in cardiovascular biology, especially their involvement in vascular cell fate and vessel remodeling in normal and disease conditions. |
