Remote Access
There is one method of direct dial-up
to the MSM network, via Lantronix.
This will give you access to the Internet, e-mail and user
files and applications via modem. The advantage of remote
access through Lantronix as opposed to another internet service
provider is that Lantronix will allow you to use applications
such as Current Contents for the Web and OVID. These applications
are licensed through our network only.
Lantronix is available for
MSM Students at no charge. Students may request remote
access to the MSM network via Winframe or Lantronix by submitting
an MSM
Dial-Up Network Request Form.
Lantronix is $120.00/year for
MSM Faculty and Staff. An approved
requisition is required before we can process your request.
Please fill out a requisition and forward it to the business
office. You will be notified when it is approved.
