The HBCU-NRC has been established to facilitate, develop, implement and promote strategies and opportunities for Historically Black Colleges and Universities to:
Promote workforce development
Enhance substance abuse and mental health curricula development
Expand student mental health and substance abuse prevention and     intervention strategies
Broaden the knowledge base, interest and exposure of students to evidence     based mental health and substance abuse initiatives

The HBCU-NRC and Tabia Akintobi, Ph.D, Lead Evaluator, currently need to document existing curricula, services and needs with the HBCU community so that accomplishments of the HBCU-NRC can be effectively evaluated.
