The African American Mental Health Research Scientist Consortium (AAMHRS)

Dr. Bradford has been asked to join the AAMHRS, a national consortium sponsored by NIMH to increase the number of African American mental health researchers and provide supportive network for mentoring of young researchers. Dr. Bradford has been asked to Chair the Grant Development Committee in order to develop continuity of funding for this organization. The consortium provides mentors to foster the development of high quality individual and collaborative mental health research on racial/ethnic minorities and an annual “Grant Boot camp” which facilitates grant writing, submission and responding to reviewers’ comments.
