The Morehouse School of Medicine Master of Public Health Program has developed a highly integrated approach to the academic training of public health leaders.  The program focuses on ensuring that all graduates are equipped with the skills/competencies essential to the practice of public health. Our graduates are in demand and are employed in public health positions (or are in doctoral programs) almost without exception.

As of May 2006, there are 108 graduates from the MPH program. Approximately 80 percent of our graduates employed in the public health workforce and the remaining are in Doctoral and Residency programs at a number of prestigious institutions.  Several of our graduates also received post graduate fellowships with the Public Health Prevention Services (CDC), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Boston Medical Center, Congressional Black Caucus and ORISE (CDC).

All MPH graduates attain membership in the Morehouse School of Medicine Alumni Association upon graduation.  The purpose of the Alumni Association is to promote the welfare and interest of the School of Medicine and support and advance medical, biomedical and public health graduate education.
