The Morehouse School of Medicine’s goal is to raise $500,000 in unrestricted funds during 2006-07. Your support to the annual campaign for unrestricted giving will help make this a reality. Unrestricted gifts support the Morehouse School of Medicine in several ways, including student scholarships, facility improvements, technology enhancements, and library upgrades. All gifts—large or small—advance us toward our goal and will be recognized in the Morehouse School of Medicine Annual Report.
In 2005, the Morehouse School of Medicine celebrated its 30th Anniversary. An unprecedented 64 percent of our full-time employees contributed to the 30th Anniversary Campaign.
Faculty/staff support is vital to the institution’s commitment to reach our $500,000 goal in unrestricted giving. As part of the unrestricted, annual giving campaign in 2006-2007, we are introducing the Hugh M. Gloster Society. The Gloster Society recognizes unrestricted individual gifts of $1,000, $3,000, and $5,000 to the Morehouse School of Medicine. Individual donors who make an unrestricted gift of $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund between July 1, 2006, and December 31, 2007, become charter members of this Society. Remember, you must renew your gift annually at $1,000 or more to remain a member of this Society.
For employees who participate in the payroll deduction program, contributions of $83.34 per month for 12 months would provide eligibility for membership at the $1,000 level of the Gloster Society. Those who want to contribute at a higher level would commit to larger monthly or semi-monthly payroll deductions.
