The goal of the Morehouse School of Medicine 2006-2007 “Preparing Today’s Students for Tomorrow’s Health Care” Annual Fund is to raise $500,000 for unrestricted purposes. Unrestricted funds are used to meet needs not funded by other forms of institutional support.
As tuition and interest from endowment meet only part of the School’s operating expense, unrestricted gifts to the Morehouse School of Medicine are important. Support from alumni, corporations and foundations, faculty/staff, and friends helps us in ensuring funds to provide a quality education for health care professionals. Your unrestricted gift—large or small—to the 2006-2007 Annual Fund will help us reach our $500,000 goal.

Unrestricted gifts are the lifeblood of an institution and are among the most powerful forms of private support. They help the School meet crucial needs in the areas of student scholarships, facility improvements, technology enhancements, and library upgrades.
Unrestricted gifts of $1,000, $3,000, or $5,000, renewed annually at $1,000 or more, qualify individual donors for membership in the Hugh M. Gloster Society and its designated giving levels. Also, unrestricted corporate and foundation gifts of $10,000, $30,000, or $50,000 qualify donors for the Gloster Society membership. Corporate and foundation donors must renew annually between $10,000 and $50,000 to remain members of the Society. Individual donors who make an unrestricted gift of $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund between July 1, 2006, and December 31, 2007, become charter members of this Society. Remember, you must renew your gift annually at $1,000 or more to remain a member of this Society.
