Dr. Buchanan is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics. She received her B.S. from Howard University and her M.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Buchanan completed her residency in General Pediatrics at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center and her fellowship in Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Buchanan completed the rigorous course leading to the MS degree in Epidemiology with a concentration in healthcare effectiveness at the Harvard School of Public Health. She serves as the Co-Director of the Department’s Division of Research.
