People Advocating Disease Prevention (PADP)
The Morehouse School of Medicine’s People Advocating Disease Prevention (PADP_ program is a consortium member of a federally funded Ryan White Title IV Project, managed by the Georgia Department of Human Resources. PADP provides clinical services to clients seen at Morehouse Medical Associates Adult and Pediatric Infectious Disease Clinics, and the Grady Adult Infectious Disease Clinic.
Goals for People Advocating Disease Prevention
- To increase the number of HIV infected and at risk women, children, adolescents and families who are provided HIV counseling, testing, primary care, and social services
- To provide comprehensive clinical services designed to reduce perinatal HIV transmission
To increase awareness and knowledge of and access to clinical trials research. |
