Mrs. Portis-Jones joined the Department as Senior Department Administrator in October, 2001. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and an M.P.A. with concentration in Healthcare Services and Administration from City University of New York, Baruch College of Business. Mrs. Portis-Jones has over 15 years of experience in healthcare administration- public & private hospital, ambulatory care, and community health center environments. She is the sitting chair of the Clinical Departments Senior Administrators group at MSM, and was recently named to the Executive Board of the National Association of Administrators in Academic Pediatrics.
