Excellence Centers to Eliminate Ethnic/Racial
Disparities
Funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research
and Quality (AHRQ)
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality
recently awarded nine grants that will help health
researchers to understand and address the factors
that contribute to ethnic and racial inequities
in healthcare. Known as the EXCEED (Excellence
Centers to Eliminate Ethnic/Racial Disparities)
initiative, these studies will also help identify
practical tools and strategies to eliminate the
disparities.
