Greetings and Welcome to Medical Physiology!

     In this course, our goal, as a team of instructors, is to help you to gain a broad understanding of basic physiologic mechanisms.  We will focus on how these mechanisms make normal healthy function possible but will also refer to how these same basic mechanisms are involved in disease states.  Your understanding of normal human physiology is the foundation you will build upon as you develop a thorough understanding of disease states and treatments that will be essential to your practice of medicine.
