Anesthesiologist
Dr. Kevin Thomas is a native New Yorker who currently practices medicine in North Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine in 1992. Despite matching in Anesthesiology at Tulane University Medical Center, Dr. Thomas chose to fulfill his internship requirement at Morehouse School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Program. As a result, Dr. Thomas was the first graduate from Morehouse School of Medicine to be accepted into the newly accredited Morehouse School of Medicine Residency Program at Grady Memorial Hospital. Upon completing his internship and his anesthesia residency, Dr. Thomas accepted a anesthesia position in North Dallas, Texas. He is currently a partner and employed with the multi group company United States Anesthesia Providers.
Dr. Kevin Thomas received his Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University in
Massachusetts and attended a post baccalaureate premed program (MEDPREP) at Southern
Illinois University to complete his premed requirements after his mother's death from
cancer.
Dr. Thomas is an active member of The American Medical Association, National Medical
Association, American Society of Anesthesiologist, and is a member of local and county
medical societies. He is also an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
