Faculty and Staff
Our team is unified by our department and institutional mission. Each member of our faculty and staff is committed to doing their part in creating a mentally healthier society and a more representative mental health workforce. Our primary faculty have specialized training in Child & Adolescent, Addiction, Consult, Global and Forensic Mental Health that is complemented by the broad range of expertise in our Adjunct faculty.

2023 Dewitt Symposium
Morehouse Shool of Medicine is excited to host the 2023 Dewitt Symposium, which will be a research, advocacy and professional development event for URM Pscychiatry trainees from throughout the Southeast United States.
Graduate Medical Education
Psychiatry Residency 2022 Spring Retreat
We offer dynamic, culturally and structurally informed General Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Training. Our programs are rooted in the overarching institutional mission of Leading in the Creation and Advancement of Health Equity.
Medical Student Education
Our faculty are committed to designing and delivering great learning experiences for our students. Our department plays an integral role during the basic science and clinical years for medical students and offers a number of exciting electives for 4th year medical students.
Scholarship and Professional Service
Supported by our dedicated staff, our faculty, residents and fellows are engaged in a wide variety of scholarly pursuits. Additionally, our faculty hold numerous professional leadership positions at both regional and national levels. Spring of 2023, we're excited to host the DeWitt Symposium, which will be a research, advocacy and professional development event for URM Pscychiatry trainees from throughout the Southeast United States.
Office of Inclusive Learning and Accessibility Services (OILAS)
Morehouse School of Medicine’s Office of Inclusive Learning and Accessibility Services (OILAS) serves as the primary resource for students with documented disabilities, disability concerns, and making request for reasonable academic adjustments and accommodations. OILAS works in collaboration with faculty, staff and departments throughout MSM to develop successful strategies for academic achievement. Confidentiality will be observed in all inquiries. Course instructors support student accommodation requests when an approved letter from OILAS has been received and when students discuss these accommodations with the instructor after receipt of the approved letter.
