Academics of Technology

The HIT division is intimately involved in the education and training of health professionals and community members in degreed, non-degreed and continuing education programs. We are involved in national programs through participation through public speaking, academic teaching, research and publications. Our research seeks to measure the quality and quantity of HIT implementation in relationship to the intent of policies that legislate the activity. Policy evaluation and analysis of federal and state legislation and how it impacts vulnerable communities is critical to the development of valuable strategies for better health outcomes. Our academic finding helps to inform our advocacy and NCPC’s development of innovative services that support underserved populations.
