Volunteers, physicians and healthcare providers are needed to kick off and expand
Macon’s Alumni Learning Community (ALC) program. Volunteers are needed to become mentors, and/or sign up to be a part of the
ALC speaker database, participate in panels, advising sessions, and host student shadowing
days. Commit, as your schedule permits, rather very small or larger amounts of time
will all be appreciated. All interested Macon Morehouse School of Medicine alumni
invited to click below to inquire about how to join.
“Reaching out to the next generation of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) students and nurturing their interest in health related careers are absolutely essential. It is essential to the future of our country’s health and the future of our noble profession. Mentorship and teaching must become a priority-eve for those of us who are not necessarily interested in academic medicine.” -L. Joy Baker, M.D., MT
